i lost my social security card in a public place last night. i was really worried and depressed yesterday about it, thinking that it was just one more thing that’s gone wrong lately. but i’m not bothered anymore. i know most people wouldn’t use it for anything devious. i’ll just take what comes and deal with it then.

with all the world’s flaws, right now i’m really thankful for music. sometimes pretty sounds can just melt the whole world away… and sometimes that feels perfectly fine.
